Montreal-based influencer Karolina Victoria Jez knows how to wield a camera as well as how to dazzle in front of the lens. As the content creator behind Nine Blonde, Jez has an enviable style that is a mix of both masculine standouts and fun, feminine elements, such as combat boots paired with schoolgirl skirts or “dad sneakers” worn with a pistachio-green suit. With a mantra of “rules were made to be broken,” Jez thrives on testing the boundaries, whether the topic at hand is her fashion sense or how she lives her day-to-day life.

Her best friend of 10 years, Kassandra Lazanis, describes the seasoned influencer’s vibe as “naughty” in the best way possible. “Karolina tends to take a lot of risks in the creative world,” says the interior designer. “She doesn’t always fit the mould, and this is definitely what makes her an inspiration!”

On the flip side, “Kassie has a very special way of having all the answers and also being amazing at telling me when I am overreacting or about to do something I may regret,” says Jez. “She’s the angel on my shoulder.” Officially adding Lazanis to the “nice” list, Jez chose Swarovski’s All-Around Pearl Necklace with white-crystal-pavé feather for her BFF. “It’s catchy but understated,” she says. For the style maven, Lazanis hand-selected Swarovski’s rose-gold-plated “Naughty” Motif Ring bearing a black-crystal-pavé feather. “The black feather describes me ideally,” says Jez. “I can be as soft as a feather, but sometimes my naughty side takes over!”
