Lipa’s take on the brand’s Mayze silhouette—a blacked-out, all-leather version of the classic stacked-sole platform sneaker—stuns in its goth-inspired simplicity. It’s embellished with a butterfly logo that’s special to this collab, one that unites the feline PUMA logo with Lipa’s name in a psychedelic, liquid-mercury-meets-neon finish. It’s an element Lipa says she’s “very proud of,” noting that the underlying message has a personal meaning. “For me butterflies are more than just beautiful creatures; they represent so much, like transformation, hope, and metamorphosis,” she says. “Over this past year the butterfly has become especially symbolic and meaningful to me.”
