Last night, the cast of The Magnificent Seven convened on the red carpet outside of Roy Thomson Hall to officially launch the Toronto International Film Festival. And friends, it wasn’t just the stars on parade who were hot—with the heat advisory, media and celebs alike schvitzed. TIFF juror Zhang Ziyi of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon made the rounds in a beaded, velvet Elie Saab gown, pausing only to moan “It’s so hot!” before making a break for the air conditioned gala. But the biggest excitement of the night came when Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt made an appearance—both sweating profusely, mopping their brows in between photo takes. But guys, would you believe me if I said it wasn’t gross? In fact, they still looked incredible—magnificent even (sorry). It should be illegal for so much handsomeness to exist in such a confined space. If night one is anything to go by, this TIFF should be fire.
