Proof positive that TV is the medium for celebs these day: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Julia Roberts has signed on to star in a small-screen adaptation of the novel Today Will Be Different.

The A-lister will play Eleanor Flood in the series based on the book by Maria Semple, about an exhausted mom who promises today she will try to be a better person. Naturally, things go horribly awry.
